"Ophelia," Providence, RI, AS220, 2015, Laser Cut masonite and wooden dowel rods. 4" x 5.5" x 1".

Ophelia is a laser cut, press fit book with a living hinge that allows the book to be open, read and touched. The poem is by Irina Mashinski and translated by Andrew Linder from Russian. The text's nonlinear structure is embodied by the structure of the book as the rollers can be easily rearranged and read in multiple ways.

This book was exhibited in the 35th Annual Juried Student Exhibition at the Bell Gallery in Providence, Rhode Island in 2015.
